COMPARISON

Below, you will find a comparison of L.C. Maths to several other online maths support websites, namely the following:

  • The Maths Tutor
  • The Dublin Academy of Education
  • The Institute of Education
  • Breakthrough Maths
  • Grade Academy

You will find a common trend in what you read below – not only do we offer the best support, we are also the cheapest at offering that support.

The reason? We exist purely to help students as best that we can and as cheaply as we can. If our existence was the catalyst for other websites becoming both cheaper and better than us, thereby making us pointless, we would be absolutely delighted!

Note that we are of course purely judging books by their covers. It’s up to each individual student to decide if they wish to read that book or not.

You’ve likely noticed that we were being quite modest in our opening statement – not only are we both the best and the cheapest option, we are in fact comfortably the best and the cheapest option.

Why is that? Well, businesses only need to compete with each other. They only need to be slightly cheaper and slightly better than their competitors in order to appear as if they are the best option. Reducing their prices any further than that simply results in lost revenue.

We, however, don’t have that mindset. Our prices are set as low as we believe that we can manage and are not based upon ensuring that we are as profitable as we can be.

As a final thought, let’s compare how many (50 minute) group grinds €150 would get you at the websites above that offer grinds.

Membership + 10 group grinds

6 group grinds

6 group grinds

3 group grinds

Of course, we’ve also ignored the fact that €150 would in fact get you zero grinds at each of these websites as each of their grinds bundles cost more than that!

These websites were chosen for this comparison purely as they were the first that appeared when we performed a Google search for maths support and are listed in the order that they appeared in that search.
