As the majority of visitors to L.C. Maths are young adults, we take the privacy of our visitors very seriously. Our Privacy Policy, as described below, reflects this stance in a transparent manner.

Anyone who uses this website, be they visitors, members or otherwise, will herein be referred to as users.

Data can be collected from users in various different ways, each of which is outlined and described in the policy below.

By using this website, a user agrees with this policy as described.

Customers

When purchasing an membership, booking a grind, booking a course or buying a school licence, a user provides L.C. Maths with the following information:

1) Email address

This email address will be used only for the following reasons:

  • to send the user a confirmation email that the order was successful
  • to be used by members as a “username” when logging in
  • to send the user details about their personal webpage after their first grind
  • to send the user a link to join each grind that they have booked
  • to respond to any messages that a user has sent to us either by email or by using our Teacher Chat feature
  • to inform a member about any substantial updates to the website
  • to inform a member about any substantial changes to either the Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy herein discussed

This email address is not used for any other purpose and is not shared externally (unless we are legally obligated to do so).

2) Payment details

This is requested only so that the order may be processed.

Payment details are processed securely by an external payment provider (Stripe or PayPal) and are never stored on our servers.

When making a payment on L.C. Maths, visitors are therefore instead bound by the Privacy Policy of the corresponding payment provider (Stripe or PayPal), of which L.C. Maths is in no way affiliated.

Browser

When accessing the website through a browser, data may be collected in various forms, including a user’s IP address, browser type and version, the time spent on the website and other diagnostic data.

The collection of this data is used only for the following reasons:

  • to address any technical difficulties that a user may be having
  • to ensure that a user is not breaking the Terms and Conditions of the website
  • to improve the user experience on L.C. Maths

This data is not used for any other purpose and is not shared externally (unless we are legally obligated to do so).

Media

When users contact us using our Teacher Chat feature, they may upload attachments, typically in the form of images or screenshots. This media is used only to answer any questions relating to that media. Such media is not used for any other purpose and is not shared externally (unless we are legally obligated to do so).

When booking a grind or class, that grind or class may be recorded. For the sake of student privacy, the student themselves, be it their face or voice, is not captured during a recording. Instead, the recording will consist only of the teacher and their screen.

The recordings of each grind can only be accessed via a password-protected page, the password of which shall be provided to the user via email.

The recordings of each class can only be accessed on the corresponding membership-only page after logging in.

Such recordings are not used for any other purpose and are not shared externally (unless we are legally obligated to do so). Users are also entitled to request that this recording be removed from our website at any point.

A.M. Online may use various types of cookies as a user navigates our website, including cookies associated with security and user preferences.

At the end of each revision sheet, we provide links to third party websites that we believe may benefit users in their understanding of the corresponding topic.
