What is the cost of a school licence?

The cost of the licence is €20 (€15 for DEIS schools) multiplied by the number of students accounts that you need. (Teacher accounts are free!)

If the unlikely event that the total number of student accounts that you wish to include with your licence (5th + 6th year) is less than fifty, then the licence is instead a flat fee of €1000 (€750 for DEIS schools).

Who can fill out the school licence form?

Any school staff member, including the principal, a deputy principal, a teacher or administration staff.

Do I need to know the number of students now?

Not at all! We understand that this page may be viewed at a time when schools do not yet know their student numbers, e.g. during the summer.

Therefore, after submitting the form, we will instead send you details as to how to send us those numbers at a later date.

Do I need to pay for the school licence now?

We request only a deposit of the minimum licence fee for now.

Once you have an idea of how many students you wish to include with your licence, you can then pay the additional balance (if any) as outlined in the email that we will send you.

School term has already started. Can I still obtain a school licence?

Yes! There are no restrictions on when you can obtain a school licence.

Of course, the earlier, the better!

How long does a school licence last?

Until the end of the school year (30th June).

How should a school licence be funded?

That is entirely dependent on the school!

Some schools fund it themselves, some schools fund it through parents, and others a bit of both.

The choice is up to you!

School licenses can be purchased by either bank transfer or debit/credit card.
